It is my great honour and privilege to welcome you to the website of the European Soeciety for Paediatric Anaesthesiology (ESPA) which has been launched in Warsaw, during the 7th European Congress of Anaesthesiology.

To mark this event, individual membership in all categories is offered free of charge to eligible applicants during the first financial year of the society. Following that time a small annual fee of 30 Euros will be payable. Membership benefits include the right to propose and elect members of the Executive Board of ESPA, a reduced subscription rate to the journal Pediatric Anesthesia and a reduced registration fee for Annual ESPA Congresses. Within this site you will find information about the Society. Here is an open Forum for discussion, educational material (abstracts, lectures, Power Point presentations) and last but not least – information and registration forms for the Annual Congresses of ESPA.

Paediatric anaesthestists in Europe and overseas are warmly invited to join the Society. In this way we will be able to keep in touch and work together for our main goal: to raise the standards of our specialty and to provide the best care available to children everywhere.

Finally, we invite you to participate in the future development of the new website. Our aim is continual improvement and any suggestions will be appreciated.
